Summary

Device42 is hiring a UI front-end web developer to join their team. The candidate will be responsible for building the user interface of Device42's web application using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Qualified candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in modern web development and familiarity with Vue.js, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML5, design tools like Figma, CSS preprocessors, build tools, and cross-browser compatibility testing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing modern, responsive, and cross-browser-compatible websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Knowledge of Vue JavaScript framework (preferably version 3)
• Experience with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery and Bootstrap
• Proficiency with HTML5, including semantic HTML5 elements, microformats, and WAI-ARIAE
• Experience with design tools such as Figma
• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors such as Sass, Less, or Stylus
• Experience with build tools such as Grunt, Gulp, or Webpack
• Experience with cross-browser compatibility testing

Responsibilities

• Build web applications with web development best practices
• Transform app designs into front-end code with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Work with back-end developers to integrate UI components with APIs and databases
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical requirements or UX design
• Debug errors, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine performance optimizations
