Requirements

  • Basic copywriting skills (English)
  • Strong knowledge of color theory, typography, and design principles
  • Proficiency in maintaining and contributing to a consistent design library and system, with familiarity using tools like ShadCN for modular, reusable components
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing, deadline-driven environment
  • A driven, enthusiastic personality with a sense of humor
  • Proficiency with Figma on a Mac (preferred tooling)
  • Analyzing and designing user journeys
  • Working with design systems, symbol libraries, and component-based frameworks like ShadCN to ensure consistency and scalability

Responsibilities

  • Translating customer needs into user journeys and designing intuitive interfaces
  • Researching, designing, and prototyping new user experiences in collaboration with the product manager and/or creative director
  • Delivering user cases, scenarios, wireframes, prototypes, mockups, visual assets, and comprehensive design guidelines to ensure flawless implementation
  • Presenting and communicating designs and deliverables to peers and executives
  • Maintaining and evolving our design system to ensure consistency across all touchpoints, leveraging ShadCN’s modular components to streamline development and design workflows

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ShadCN or similar component libraries is a plus, as it ensures our design system remains consistent, accessible, and developer-friendly
