UI/UX Designer

Summary

Join Zoic Labs as their UI/UX Designer and be responsible for the visual development and design of applications across various platforms. This highly creative role involves designing initial concepts, collaborating with engineers and clients, and ensuring a functional and aesthetically pleasing user experience. The position is project-based, initially for two months with potential extensions. You will conduct user research and usability testing to improve user experience. Remote work within the U.S. is accepted. US Citizenship is required, and while a DoD clearance isn't initially required, it may be necessary later.

Requirements

• Be passionate and knowledgeable about UI and UX design and able to articulate this
• Solid understanding of visual hierarchy, layout design, and usability design
• Adobe XD, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Zeplin
• Google Slides
• Updated portfolio that demonstrates UI/UX skills in digital products
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in collaboration with a team
• Knowledge of information architecture
• Experience using Jira
• US Citizenship

Responsibilities

• Design and champion engaging user interfaces for a variety of clients, ensuring our users have the best possible experience on our platforms
• Work in collaboration with leadership, product managers, engineers, and other designers
• Strong sensibility in taking conceptual wireframes to a high fidelity, intuitive final comp
• Develop high quality UI/UX designs, prototypes and design assets that effectively communicate design concepts
• Conduct user research and usability testing to identify and address pain points and improve experience for users
