Join our team as an Underwriting Intern for a 12-week program this summer and gain hands-on experience in the insurance industry. You'll receive on-the-job training, mentorship, and support from our talented team members.

Requirements

• A strong desire to learn!

• The ability to work as part of a team
• Proven organizational skills which will serve you well during your internship
• Effective communication skills including the ability to present and share information, and report analytical findings
• Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
• At least a 3.0 GPA

Responsibilities

• Reviewing New Business, Renewals and Inspections
• Participating in large loss reviews
• Joining our Marketing team on agency visits
• Completing detailed, industry specific training, including coursework from AINS
• Contributing to special projects developed by Underwriting Leadership
• Helping us build an even better internship experience through your insights and feedback!
