UX Copywriter Content Specialist

Summary

Join our team as a Bilingual (Arabic/English) UX Copywriter / Content Specialist to create user-focused microcopy for our digital platforms. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to ensure localized, user-friendly content aligned with our brand. Responsibilities include UX writing and content design for various interface elements, localization and translation between Arabic and English, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will also develop and maintain content strategy documentation, monitor industry trends, and ensure content compliance. This role requires strong bilingual writing skills, experience in UX writing and content strategy, and familiarity with localization tools. A hybrid/remote work arrangement is available.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Journalism, Communication, HCI, or related field
• 3–6+ years of professional experience in UX writing, content strategy, or product copywriting
• Strong bilingual writing and editing skills in Arabic and English
• Experience writing for user interfaces and digital products
• Familiarity with localization tools (e.g., PO Editor, Localise)
• Understanding of accessibility and inclusive language standards
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional product teams
• Experience managing tone of voice and content systems
• Must be able to review bilingual UI content across devices and platforms

Responsibilities

• Write micro copy for buttons, modals, alerts, forms, onboarding flows, tooltips, empty/error states, and more
• Embed content directly in UI design files using tools like Figma
• Apply inclusive, accessible language and readability standards across digital touchpoints
• Translate and adapt UX content between Arabic and English while maintaining nuance and proper flow
• Manage localization workflows using platforms like PO Editor, Localise, or similar
• Ensure consistency in tone and language across different languages and cultures
• Partner with designers, engineers, product managers, and compliance officers to align content with UX, regulatory, and business goals
• Define and maintain naming conventions, feedback language, and UI labels in the design system
• Develop and maintain a tone of voice guide and UX copy standards
• Build and manage a scalable UX content library for shared use
• Document content decisions and support usability testing of language and flow
• Monitor trends in UX writing, localization, and content strategy
• Share best practices, tools, and insights with design and product teams
• Contribute to process improvements in content creation, approval, and deployment
• Prepare reports related to content testing, localization efficiency, and user feedback
• Ensure that all content complies with accessibility, quality, and safety standards

Preferred Qualifications

Professional certifications in UX Writing, Localization, or Content Design are a plus
