SEO Content Specialist

This hands-on role requires strong writing, editing, and SEO skills, along with experience using various SEO tools. Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in SEO with a proven track record
• Excellent keyword research skills
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices
• Ability to conduct thorough keyword research and incorporate keywords strategically into content
• Proven track record of producing high-quality website content and blog posts that drive organic traffic and engagement
• Experience with WordPress or similar CMS platform
• HTML, CSS, and a basic knowledge of how technologies such as JavaScript can affect SEO
• A good understanding of UX
• A strong running knowledge of SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, or similar tools
• Organized, able to communicate with internal stakeholders, teams and clients
• Curiosity, attention to detail, ability to think out of the box, juggle projects, and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Content Creation: Leverage SEO Research and Optimization skills to create excellent SEO Research and Landing Page Content for in-house properties and clients
• Strive to become a subject matter expert within your subject space, creating excellent and engaging original SEO content
• Keyword Research: Conduct keyword research using various tools based on client goals and KPIs
• Identify landing pages for established keywords and opportunities
• Website Optimization Strategies: Optimize websites for search engines, including meta data elements, structured data, content recommendations, site architecture, page layout issues, and internal and external linking
• Provide strategic content recommendations
• Create content daily, executing on SEO strategies
• Tracking and Reporting: Create and analyze monthly client reports and provide competitive insights
• Pull relevant program data from popular analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Looker/Google Data Studio, etc

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong background in content strategy and copywriting
• Offsite SEO experience: Develop offsite strategy and manage execution of outreach and promotional strategies for link acquisition
