UX Designer

Summary

Join Voyc, a rapidly growing SaaS startup, as a UX Designer to craft intuitive and engaging user experiences for our B2B AI platform. Requirements

• Tertiary qualification equivalent to NQF 6 or higher
• Minimum 2 years of experience in UX Design, preferably in a SaaS or startup environment
• Strong expertise in usability, information architecture, and interaction design
• Proven experience in user flows, feature prioritisation, wireframing, and prototyping
• Experience designing for multi-device web applications and responsive design
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• A keen eye for aesthetics, details, and UI consistency
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of UX projects
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present and justify design decisions to stakeholders
• A strong portfolio showcasing user experience design projects
• Native English speaker or business-level proficiency in English

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research and usability testing to understand user needs, pain points, and behaviours
• Lead UX and UI design initiatives, creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
• Improve usability across our platform to enhance user engagement and retention
• Build upon and evolve our existing design system to ensure consistency and scalability
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to conceptualise, design, and refine new features
• Translate stakeholder briefs into actionable design solutions that align with business goals
• Work with complex interactions for our B2B product, ensuring intuitive workflows and seamless customer journeys
• Develop and optimise design workflows, streamlining the design process for efficiency and impact
• Strengthen brand principles through UI components and assets
• Provide detailed design documentation and work closely with frontend developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation
• Advocate for a user-centric approach, iterating on designs based on user feedback and data insights

Preferred Qualifications

Experience managing, evolving, or building design systems is a plus
