Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years in product management, with a strong focus on UX design or research
  • UX Expertise: Deep knowledge of UX design principles, user-centered design processes, and user research methodologies
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to leverage data from user feedback and analytics to drive product decisions and optimizations
  • Collaboration: Strong ability to work cross-functionally, particularly with design and development teams, to ensure cohesive product delivery
  • Project Management: Experience managing product development lifecycle, from ideation through to post-launch
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate user needs and product vision clearly to stakeholders
  • Technical Understanding: Familiarity with UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics) for monitoring product performance and usage data

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the user journey, ensuring every interaction with our product is intuitive and seamless
  • Collaborate closely with the founders and design team to develop user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall user experience
  • Collaborate or conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather actionable insights that drive product features and design improvements
  • Work closely with design, research, engineering, founders and marketing teams to translate user needs into actionable product features that enhance usability and experience
  • Collaborate to prioritize features and product improvements based on user feedback, research data, and business objectives. Articulate to the engineering team what needs to be done and understand β€˜the how’ as a result of the discussion with them
  • Plan and conduct usability tests at various stages of product development to ensure user needs are met, and continuously iterate the product for optimal user experience
  • Collaborate with marketing team and product lead during product launches, ensuring product messaging aligns with user needs and expectations. Continuously monitor post-launch user feedback and implement product updates to drive satisfaction
  • Collaborate to define and maintain detailed user personas that guide the design and development process to ensure alignment with real user needs
