Summary

Join PayPay's product team as a UX Writer and contribute to creating user-friendly and clear UX copy for apps and web services. Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to ensure a seamless user experience. Support the senior UX Writer in crafting various text formats, including in-app messages, push notifications, and emails. You will be responsible for creating, editing, and proposing user-friendly UX copy in Japanese, and also proofreading English designs and creating Japanese copy. The role requires native-level Japanese skills and either 3+ years of English-Japanese translation experience or 2+ years of English-to-Japanese localization experience. Requirements

  • Native-level Japanese skills

Responsibilities

  • Create, edit, and propose user-friendly UX copy in Japanese for apps and web services
  • Proofread English designs and create Japanese copy and text structure
  • Create text for various in-app messages, push notifications, and emails
  • Adhere to writing guidelines and suggest optimal wording for users
  • Conduct internal and external research and use data to create text

Preferred Qualifications

  • Web site and mobile app (iOS/Android) basic knowledge
  • Basic understanding of user flows and UI design
  • Daily conversation and reading and writing level English skills
