UX Writer

Summary

Join PayPay, a leading fintech company with 65 million users, as a UX Writer! Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to create user-friendly copy for our apps and web services. You will work closely with a senior UX writer, ensuring all content aligns with PayPay's brand voice. Responsibilities include crafting UI text, push notifications, and email communications. This role requires native-level Japanese skills and experience in either English-Japanese translation or Japanese UX/content writing. Requirements

• Native-level Japanese skills
• At least one of the following: 3+ years of English-Japanese translation experience or 2+ years of English-to-Japanese localization experience; Experience in Japanese UX writing/content writing

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and propose user-friendly UX copy in Japanese for app and web service UI and guide pages
• Create, structure, and proofread UI text within the PayPay app, merchant app, and web tools
• Proofread English designs, create Japanese copy, and structure text
• Create various text, including microcopy, push notifications, and email communications for user interaction within apps and web tools
• Propose user-optimal text based on design and development requirements, adhering to writing guidelines
• Conduct internal and external research and create text based on data

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of websites and mobile apps (iOS/Android)
• Understanding of basic user flows and UI design
• Conversational and reading/writing level English skills
