Ux/Ui Designer

Join our client's dynamic team as a creative and user-focused UX Designer! You will be instrumental in designing intuitive user interfaces, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with user needs and business goals. This role involves conducting user research, creating design assets (personas, wireframes, prototypes), and collaborating with developers and visual designers. You will also run usability testing, iterate designs, and advocate for user-centric design. Staying updated on industry trends is crucial for success in this position.

Requirements

• A Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or related fields (or equivalent work experience)
• Proven experience in UX design with a strong portfolio, showcasing projects and expertise in Figma
• Solid understanding of UX principles, usability testing, accessibility standards, and layout design
• Familiarity with WordPress and front-end concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Experience working in agile or collaborative environments
• Excellent communication skills and a user-first mindset
• Proficiency in English (high-intermediate/advanced)

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and usability tests to understand user needs and behaviours
• Create personas, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and polished designs using Figma
• Design engaging and accessible experiences for web and mobile, ensuring consistent branding with design systems
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and visual designers to align designs with business goals
• Run usability testing, gather feedback, and iterate designs to continuously improve satisfaction
• Advocate for user-centric design within the organisation
• Stay updated with trends, best practices, and emerging technologies like AI in design
