Uzbek Language Interpreter

Summary

Join our team as a Language Interpreter (English & Uzbek) for a 12-month contract, potentially renewable. You will facilitate communication between English and Uzbek speakers, primarily handling live calls, ensuring accurate interpretation for both parties. Work from home, maintaining a quiet and secure environment. The position offers a competitive hourly rate (RM30/hour), plus Socso, EPF, and OT pay. Benefits include paid sick leave, annual leave, and public holidays. A 3-week paid training program is provided. This role requires fluency in both English and Uzbek (reading, writing, and speaking), and the ability to work rotating night shifts.

Requirements

• Fluent in English (Read & Speak & Write)
• Fluent in Uzbek (Read & Write & Speak)
• Must be working from home
• Own Mobile phone with Android 12 and above or IOS 15 and above
• Own laptop with updated version
• Must be willing to work rotating shift for 9 hours anytime following the required schedule by the client within 24 hours (Night Shift)
• They will be entitled to 2 days off in a week which will be rotating any day
• Must be willing to work on public holidays as the operation is 24/7

Responsibilities

• Facilitate communication between parties who speak different languages
• Accurately interpret conversations between callers (Uzbek) and emergency operators (English)
• Convey messages in the caller's preferred language, ensuring both parties understand each other
• Work from a home office in a quiet and secure environment
