Summary

The job is for a Video Content Producer at Reedsy to create engaging video content for their YouTube channel, complement blog content, conduct keyword research, promote videos, and organize webinars. The ideal candidate should have publishing experience, proficiency in video editing tools, a strong understanding of the YouTube algorithm, and native-level English speaking skills.

Requirements

• Publishing experience and strong understanding of writing craft topics
• Demonstrable experience as a successful Vlogger, ideally on YouTube
• A creative/artistic flair
• Proficient in video editing tools such as Final Cut Pro, iMovie, and Adobe Premiere and in working with photoshop
• Strong understanding of the YouTube algorithm
• Native-level English speaker

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the marketing team to complement our blog content with video
• Develop engaging video scripts
• Produce, edit and publish 1-2 videos per week for our YouTube channel + shorter versions for our social media channels and advertising campaigns
• Continue building our community: engage with subscribers and reach out to potential content partners
• Conduct keyword research to determine YouTube SEO opportunities
• Promote the videos, the channel and optimize metadata
• Organize Reedsy Live sessions (webinars, writing sprints, Q&A, feature presentations, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of YouTube advertising
• SEO knowledge
• Fluent in multiple languages
