Summary

CookUnity is a meal delivery marketplace that connects consumers with talented chefs, revolutionizing meal delivery. The company empowers working chefs and supports community growth while combating food insecurity. CookUnity's Creative team, including the Brand and Performance teams, develop marketing activations and experiences to drive acquisition, brand awareness, and customer loyalty. CookUnity is seeking a Video Editor with 5+ years of experience in video production, editing, and motion graphics to join their Creative team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in video editing
• Effective communicator and storyteller
• Proficient in video creation/editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve)
• Knowledge of aspect ratios, video encoding formats, hi-res file transfer applications
• Experience with social media channels and content creation
• Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
• Ability to manage own projects and work independently
• Creative and willing to experiment

Responsibilities

• Creative ideation, production and editing of video content for CookUnity across all channels (paid and organic social media, website, in app, etc.)
• Collaborate with Head of Performance Creative Strategy to determine content direction and details
• Implement creative notes from stakeholder teams
• Ensure content meets brand specs and guidelines
• Identify and implement improvements in video production processes
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest video marketing trends

Preferred Qualifications

• Production (shooting) ability/interest
• Experience in performance creative functions
• Deep understanding of social media platforms (e.g., Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, etc)
