Requirements

  • (Preferred but not required) Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Multimedia, Communications, or a related field
  • 3 years or more, experience in video editing and production
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and other relevant tools
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of video editing projects
  • Excellent storytelling skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Responsibilities

  • Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos that align with SOULCHI’s brand and messaging
  • Work closely with the content creation team to develop concepts and storyboards for video projects
  • Ensure all videos are of high quality and meet the company's standards and objectives
  • Create a variety of video content, including promotional videos, social media clips, tutorials, interviews, and event coverage
  • Incorporate graphics, animations, and special effects to enhance video content
  • Ensure all content is optimized for various platforms, including social media, the company website, and email marketing
  • Collaborate with the marketing team, creative team, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver videos that meet their needs
  • Work with the social media team to produce content that is timely and relevant to current trends and audience interests
  • Coordinate with the audio team to ensure high-quality sound in all video projects
  • Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to deadlines
  • Organize and maintain video assets and archives for easy access and future use
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in video editing and production
  • Review and critique video content to ensure it meets brand guidelines and quality standards
  • Make necessary adjustments based on feedback from the team and stakeholders
  • Perform color correction, audio adjustments, and other post-production tasks as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of motion graphics and animation is a plus
  • Familiarity with the health and wellness industry is a plus
