Summary

Join Jobscan as a Video Producer and contribute your creative skills to produce a variety of video content, including YouTube videos, product demos, and tutorials. You will collaborate with the social media marketing specialist and product team to ensure alignment with company goals. This is a part-time position (5-10 hours/week) offering an hourly rate of $10-$20, depending on qualifications. You will be responsible for editing, motion graphics, and collaborating on projects. A strong portfolio showcasing your video editing and motion graphics skills is required.

Requirements

• Proficiency with professional video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or After Effects (or similar industry-standard software)
• Motion graphics skills, particularly in creating sizzle reels and engaging product demo videos
• A portfolio showcasing a range of video projects, including YouTube videos, product demos, sizzle reels, and tutorials
• Ability to work independently on video projects while collaborating effectively with the social media marketing team and other stakeholders
• Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and juggle multiple projects
• Proven experience in video editing and motion graphics, demonstrated through a strong portfolio
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and take direction for video projects
• Availability from 7am-10am Pacific time

Responsibilities

• Edit thought-leadership videos for Jobscan’s YouTube channel, ensuring high production quality and alignment with the company’s voice and brand
• Produce product demo videos, tutorials, product sizzle reels, and monthly product updates, taking full responsibility for editing and motion graphics creation
• Collaborate with the social media marketing specialist to execute assignments and ensure all video content fits within broader marketing strategies
• Occasionally work with the product team to develop content that highlights new features or updates, particularly for demo or tutorial videos
• Create motion graphics for product sizzle reels and other promotional materials, ensuring a dynamic and engaging viewer experience
• Stay updated on industry trends and bring fresh, creative approaches to video content
