As a Video Editor, you will create engaging, platform-optimized video ads using CapCut and AI editing tools. You will combine footage, add text, animations, and music for various social media platforms. Collaboration with marketing teams and training fellow editors are also part of the role. The position requires at least two years of video editing experience and proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. The work is remote, full-time, and involves a specific schedule.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of video editing experience
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects are required
• A strong portfolio showcasing your best video edits for social media and/or documentaries that show your ability to visually tell a story
• Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for storytelling through visuals
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English
• A deep understanding of social media trends and the evolving nature of digital consumer behavior

Responsibilities

• Create engaging and platform-optimized video ads using CapCut and AI editing tools
• Combine internal and stock footage, adding text, animations (preferably via After Effects), and music to produce attention-grabbing content for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok
• Ensure each video connects with the target audience and supports campaign goals
• Collaborate with marketing teams and help train fellow editors to improve output quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in E-commerce, Creative Agencies or Direct Consumer industry is advantageous
• Experience in editing videos, making ones for social media or documentaries are a plus
• Openness and current experience when experimenting with AI tools that can improve current workflows in terms of efficiency and quality output
• Experience with CapCut or AI editing tools is advantageous
