Join Synthesia, a leading AI video communications platform, as a Social-First Video Editor. You will be part of the Content & Community team, creating engaging video content for various social media platforms like LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts. The role involves crafting videos designed for maximum reach and virality, requiring strong video editing skills and experience with social-first content. You will also contribute to content ideation and leverage platform-specific best practices to create compelling videos. Requirements

• High-level video editing experience with a strong portfolio
• Proven experience editing social-first content (organic social and/or paid ads)
• At least some basic motion design skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly iterative content environment
• Experience of content ideation (you won’t just cut footage, you’ll bring ideas to help shape what gets made)
• An understanding of platform-specific best practices (e.g. TikTok vs LinkedIn vs YouTube Shorts) - knowing what will hook people in the first 3 seconds

Responsibilities

• Create engaging and attention-grabbing videos to spread the word about Synthesia
• Craft a range of video content designed for reach, resonance, and virality
• Play a key role in shaping how Synthesia shows up on social media

Preferred Qualifications

• Shooting and basic production skills (especially for UGC-style or lo-fi footage)
• Experience using GenAI tools (e.g: ChatGPT Image, Google Veo3, Pika, etc..)
• Design skills
• B2B experience
