Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in video editing, preferably in the home services, restaurant, or hospitality industry
- Proficiency in video editing tools, such as Adobe Premiere Pro (required), Final Cut Pro, or similar software
- Strong eye for detail, composition, and storytelling through video
- Ability to work independently and efficiently to deliver high-quality videos within tight deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain well-organized files and shared folders
- Consistently producing high-quality videos that meet the content guidelines and perform well on social media platforms
- Meeting or exceeding deadlines, with a strong focus on timeliness and quality
- Positive feedback from the content team and clients regarding the creative quality and impact of the videos
- Efficient organization and management of video files and assets within the production process
Responsibilities
- Short-form Video Editing: Edit short-form videos (Instagram and TikTok reels) with a focus on creating engaging, attention-grabbing content
- Incorporate Text: Add on-screen captions and text overlays in line with brand guidelines
- Platform Optimization: Ensure all edits are optimized for the platform and audience engagement
- Content Editing with Guidelines: Edit videos based on provided guidelines, ensuring alignment with the clientβs requirements, messaging, and visual aesthetics
- Project Management: Monitor content management and production management of video projects using Monday.com for tracking and managing deadlines
- Organization: Ensure all data and video footage are organized in shared files and folders for easy access and collaboration
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with AI tools for content optimization (e.g., AI-based captioning, editing tools, etc.)
- Experience working with PM tools like Monday.com for content production management is preferable
- A positive and proactive attitude, with the ability to take initiative and drive content production forward
- A passion for video content creation and staying up-to-date with the latest trends in social media video formats
