Summary
Join DECA Games, a remote-first company with a global team, as a Producer for AA or AAA live games. You will collaborate closely with the Product Lead, define and execute roadmaps, coordinate teams, and ensure smooth live operations. You will also provide progress reports, resolve team issues, onboard new team members, and make independent decisions. This role requires at least 2 years of experience as a Producer in AA or AAA live game production, proficiency in Jira and Agile methodologies, and excellent communication skills. Requirements
- Minimum of 2 yearsβ experience as a Producer in AA or AAA live game production
- Proven experience working with Jira for task tracking and sprint planning
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to proactively identify problems and make independent decisions
- Strong knowledge of the full live game operations cycle
- High level of English, both spoken and written
Responsibilities
- Run and lead Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
- Support the Product Owner and drive their execution by facilitating communication, organization, and accountability across all departments
- Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure the game vision remains clear and is properly executed throughout live operations
- Create and improve cross-departmental processes by collaborating with department leads to ensure efficient and smooth operations
- Oversee daily operations, either directly or through an Associate Producer
- Identify and mitigate risks before they become issues, proposing and implementing contingency plans
- Provide clear progress reports and updates to stakeholders
- Identify and help resolve team-related issues, fostering a healthy and collaborative work environment
- Lead the onboarding process for new Associate Producers and support their professional growth
- Be accountable for the quality and timeliness of all production-related tasks, both their own and those of their direct reports
- Make independent decisions and operate with minimal supervision from the Senior Producer
- Assist the Product Lead in making product decisions based on the teamβs actual capabilities
