Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in an agency or production company
  • Strong working knowledge of production equipment (e.g., Arri, Sony, Panasonic cameras), crew roles, post-production software (e.g., Premiere, DaVinci Resolve), and formats (4k, 8k, various codecs, etc.)
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage teams effectively
  • Solid understanding of production methodologies, including resource allocation, risk management, and detailed work planning
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong creative thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to foster positive relationships and resolve conflicts effectively
  • Desire to grow in this field and push the boundaries of visual storytelling

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in video/broadcast offerings and processes
  • Manage project scopes, from budgeting to execution, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction
  • Oversee all phases of production: pre-production, production, and post-production for videos, branded content, commercials, etc
  • Direct and/or produce projects, including video and radio content
  • Support internal creative initiatives, such as award entries and cross-department collaborations
  • Develop and manage budgets to meet client expectations while ensuring agency profitability
  • Handle financial paperwork and coordinate with finance teams for accurate billing and reporting
  • Plan and organize shoots, including travel and logistics for domestic and international productions
  • Coordinate casting sessions, vendor communications, and contractor workflows
  • Update status reports to ensure projects remain on track and within budget
  • Partner with account leads to manage client relationships and project expectations
  • Lead client meetings to clarify objectives, scope, and logistics for each project
  • Foster strong relationships with production vendors and key stakeholders
