Virtual Mental Health Therapist

Summary

The job is for a Remote Mental Health Therapist licensed in Washington, D.C., who will provide virtual therapy services to patients through Included Health's Telehealth platform. The position requires 3+ years of unsupervised/post licensure psychotherapy treatment experience for LCSW, 6+ years for LMFT, and 5+ years for LPC/LMHC. The compensation is $60 per visit hour.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work from a CSWE accredited program (for LCSW)
• 3+ years of unsupervised/post licensure psychotherapy treatment experience (for LCSW)
• Active and unrestricted LCSW license in Washington, D.C.; licensure in multiple states is highly valued
• Ability to practice independently without ongoing clinical supervision (for LCSW)
• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from a COAMFTE accredited program (for LMFT)
• 6+ years of unsupervised, post licensure experience (for LMFT)
• Active and unrestricted LMFT license in Washington, D.C.; licensure in multiple states is highly valued (for LMFT)
• Ability to practice independently without ongoing clinical supervision (for LMFT)
• Master’s degree in Counseling from a CACREP accredited program (for LPC/LMHC)
• 5+ years of unsupervised, post licensure experience (for LPC/LMHC)
• Active and unrestricted LPC/LMHC license in Washington, D.C.; licensure in multiple states is highly valued (for LPC/LMHC)

Responsibilities

• Assess patients via a video-based encounter
• Perform virtual remote counseling, psychotherapy, comprehensive mental health evaluations, compile patient medical data, including health history and mental status examination findings
• Develop and implement behavioral health treatment plans, evaluate results of mental health assessments, and provide evidence-based therapeutic support to patients
• Collect, record and maintain sensitive patient information such as examination results, medical history and reports
