Virtual Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Join us in paving the way for a brighter, healthier future for students everywhere. We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide virtual therapy to college students in Washington DC. This is a fully remote position within the US.

Requirements

• Hold a valid Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in the Washington DC. Multi-state licensure is an added advantage as we operate in all 50 states
• Possess 1+ years of experience in outpatient community mental health settings
• Expertise in treating common mental health conditions among college-aged students including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and substance use disorders
• Understand culturally responsive treatment and have experience with diverse patient groups
• Comfortable assessing the urgency of escalating risk scenarios
• Equipped with a quality video camera and a stable internet connection to facilitate virtual care

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-quality, culturally competent virtual psychiatric evaluations and medication management appointments
• Conduct biopsychosocial intakes focused on whole-person care with clear diagnostic assessments
• Engage with patients through our collaboration portal
• Collaborate with supervisors, peers, and on-campus treatment providers
• Document clinical encounters for effective care coordination
• Partner with our care navigation team to support students
• Collaborate with campus care teams to create longer-term treatment plans when necessary

Benefits

• $171 per intake session completed (60-minutes)
• $57 per follow up session completed (30-minutes)
• $50 for all no-show intakes, $25 for all no-show follow-ups
• $100 per hour for attending NP collaborative meetings and all hands meetings
