Visiting Analyst

Summary

The job is a 4-6 month internship as a Visiting Analyst in FoodLabs Investment team, based in Berlin. The role involves supporting the team in sourcing new deals, performing due diligences, and supporting portfolio companies. The candidate should have a passion for new technologies in Food-, Bio-, and ClimateTech industries, an outstanding university degree in Business, Finance, or Economics, work experience in a dynamic environment, analytical rigor, adaptability, flexibility, strong command of English, and any additional European language is beneficial.

Requirements

• A passion for new technologies and business models disrupting the Food-, Bio-, and ClimateTech industries
• Outstanding university degree (or currently enrolled) in the field of Business, Finance, or Economics - a technical background is a plus
• Work experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment (top-tier consulting, investment banking, or high-growth startups)
• Ability to articulate opinions on opportunities and technologies
• Analytical rigor in analyzing markets and understanding trends & technologies
• Adaptability and flexibility to meet the needs of a fast-paced environment
• Strong command of the English language - any additional European language is of advantage

Responsibilities

Support the Investment team along the entire investment process, from sourcing new deals and performing due diligences to actively supporting our founders in navigating a broad spectrum of entrepreneurial challenges
