Requirements
- Earned a master's or doctorate degree in Humanities with a minimum of 18 or more graduate credit hours earned directly in the area of Humanities, Art History, Music Studies, Theater Arts, Literature, Film Studies with a historical or cultural emphasis
- Have at least 15-credit hours of online higher education teaching experience
- Are able to provide official transcripts and unofficial transcripts for all earned degrees from a regionally accredited institution
Responsibilities
- Develops and provides students with an approved Chamberlain University syllabus that follows a template, and includes the terminal course objectives
- Organizes, prepares, and regularly revises and updates all course materials
- Uses appropriate technological options for online technologies and course-related software, including Websites, e-mail, and online discussions for preparing the course and making it accessible to students
- Models effective oral and written communications that engage the students, provide clarity, and improve student learning
- Sets clear expectations for the course by publishing course terminal objectives, assignment/examinations dates, and weight the distribution of various evaluation categories
- Ensures that the content and level of material included on exams correspond to the course terminal objectives
- Demonstrates consistency and fairness in the preparation and grading of exams, and provide timely feedback to students
- Completes other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policies and standards

Benefits
Compensation rate between $850/Earned Credit Hour to $1,950/Earned Credit Hour, depending on the candidateβs education and experience
