Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in retail design, preferably within the beauty, haircare, or CPG industries
  • Proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, with working knowledge of photo retouching
  • Skilled in presentation tools including PowerPoint, Canva, Google Slides, and Excel
  • Strong portfolio showcasing innovative visual merchandising solutions and graphic design expertise
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with retail fixtures and a strong understanding of shopper behavior and visual marketing trends

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement compelling visual merchandising displays that align with the Kitsch brand identity and resonate with our target audience
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to support retail strategies, including in-store displays, seasonal campaigns, and trade show presentations
  • Prepare visual assets and mockups for presentations using PowerPoint, Canva, and Google Slides
  • Retouch images and create high-quality graphics for merchandising displays using Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Partner with production teams to ensure the accurate execution of visual merchandising concepts in retail environments
  • Analyze consumer trends and competitor strategies to inform innovative merchandising approaches
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and budgets are met
  • Regularly review and refine designs to optimize the customer experience and drive sales

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Merchandising, or a related field
