Summary

Join PatientPoint as Vice President, Insights & Enablement, a leadership role influencing the Point of Care industry. Lead a team measuring campaign impact, conducting market research, and presenting results to clients. Leverage expertise in HCP and patient-level measurement across marketing channels and marketing mix models. Serve as a key spokesperson, presenting at conferences and authoring publications. Build client relationships, focusing on strategic engagements and consultative support. Develop and deploy specialized capabilities, contributing to team innovation. Collaborate with sales and internal support functions to drive renewals and upsells. This role requires extensive life sciences experience, strong analytical skills, and proven leadership capabilities.

Requirements

  • 10+ years Life Sciences Experience, on either the Client (i.e. J&J, Pfizer, Merck, GSK, etc.), Agency (PHM, Initiative, etc.), or Vendor (IQVIA, Veeva, Ipsos, Symphony)
  • 10+ years in a combination of sales, analytics, marketing, or similar
  • 5+ years experience an insights or analytics role, supporting DTC and/or HCP Insights
  • 5+ years as a Manager or Team Leader
  • Experience in Marketing Mix Modeling, Media Effectiveness, Attribution, Audience Quality
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership – VP will lead a multi-tiered team responsible for campaign measurement, and market research
  • Thought Leadership : VP should have a thorough understanding of the application of both HCP and Patient-level test and control measurement across multiple marketing channels (i.e. POC, digital, Linear TV, OTT, etc.), as well as the ability to speak to Marketing Mix Models
  • Technical Expertise –VP will support the commissioning qual and quant research studies, look for correlations, and identify trends in the data – for the expressed purpose of driving the business forward.  This person must also stay ahead of the curve on issues which may impact the industry, such as the increase adoption of marketing mix modeling, as well as collaborating to find unique and innovative ways to measure non-traditional campaigns
  • Expert Data Storyteller – This person will be asked to serve as one of the “voices” of PatientPoint.  The VP will be a regular at industry conferences, participate in expert panel discussions, represent PatientPoint positively in the media, and author editorials & white papers.  An industry influencer that will extend PatientPoint’s thought-leadership position in the market.  As such, a mastery-level communicator (both written and orally) is a must
  • Client Relationship Building – Be prepared to engage frequently and authentically with PatientPoint clients (Pharma, Biotech, HC Retail) to develop more strategic and consultative engagements and relationships. On a client-by-client basis, determine where to focus relationship-building efforts, based on who the key decision-makers might be, and based on who may need more education/information to gain more confidence spending in the PoC channel and against PatientPoint solutions. Help PatientPoint continue to be a trusted ‘go-to advisor’ for clients across all their major POC business opportunities
  • Capabilities Development – PatientPoint prides itself on its strong commitment to measurement, transparency, and creative application of best-in-class industry tools (some proprietary, some third party). The Insights and Enablement Team is continually innovating both its core solutions and incubating new ones. This VP will have an opportunity to make significant contributions to this body of work, by leveraging and deploying specialized capabilities, upon which they will build a firm-wide reputation as a SME in those areas
  • Collaboration – Work closely with PatientPoint Sales and Internal Support functions (i.e., Sales Enablement, Pricing, etc.) to support efforts to drive sponsor renewals, upsell where appropriate, and support pricing proposals. VP will also collaborate with best-in-class internal data science/data ops teams to drive automation and leverage ML models

  • OTC/CPG Experience a plus
