Requirements
- Significant experience in strategy, consulting, and/or advisory roles, with years in senior leadership (Director/Partner level)
- Proven experience applying data, AI/ML, and digital platforms to solve client challenges
- Track record of building and commercializing consulting or digital advisory practices
Responsibilities
- Design scalable, tech-enabled advisory solutions that leverage data and AI and that build off of and enhance Carbon Directβs existing services and brand
- Manage the development of high-quality datasets that underpin the quality and integrity of tech-enabled advisory solutions
- Lead and initiate cross-functional collaborations with our science, data enablement, product, and engineering teams to ensure offerings are analytically rigorous and actionable
- Build repeatable frameworks and methodologies that underpin advisory services
- Coordinate with a range of technical contributors, strategists, and client managers to drive impact and assure client satisfaction
- Collaborate with senior leaders to inform the strategic direction for the company including growth plans, resource allocation, and team structure
- Serve as a public-facing thought leader and internal champion of the use of digital tools for decarbonization
- Translate emerging sustainability trends and policies into actionable service and sales strategies
- Cultivate and expand senior-level relationships with corporate and institutional clients for new digital advisory services
- Lead go-to-market strategy and revenue generation for digitized advisory services
- Identify, pursue, and win high-impact engagements across industries
- Manage and mentor team members to drive business development and capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep domain expertise in sustainability and climate strategy; carbon management expertise strongly preferred
- Advanced degree required; PhD in a technical or scientific field preferred
- Exceptional communicator and collaborator, with the ability to drive alignment across technical and commercial teams
- Strong working knowledge of regulatory and legal considerations relevant to digital platforms and data use
- Thoughtful and pragmatic leader who thrives in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment
