Requirements
- Proven experience as a VP of Engineering, Director of Engineering, or similar leadership role in a SaaS company
- Experience scaling and leading engineering teams
- Strong technical background in .NET, Microsoft technologies, and Azure
- Working knowledge of .Net and SQL as a foundation
Responsibilities
- Lead and scale a 20+ person engineering team in a fast growth environment across multiple squads
- Foster a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous learning
- Mentor and develop engineering leaders and individual contributors
- Align engineering execution with company objectives and product strategy
- Oversee architecture, technical decision-making, and operational efficiency
- Partner with the Chief Architect to drive scalable and maintainable systems
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security across our predominately .NET/Microsoft stack hosted on Azure
- Promote modern engineering best practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps excellence
- Ability to fluently talk shop with engineering team and aid in tactical problem-solving as needed
- Co-lead the EPD team with the VP of Product & Design to align engineering and product roadmaps
- Collaborate with customer-facing teams to understand nonprofit needs and translate them into innovative solutions
- Lead data-driven decision-making across engineering and product teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in CRM, data systems, or top-of-funnel tech is a plus
- Experience in nonprofit technology is a plus but not required
- Familiarity with Node.JS, Snowflake, micro-services, and continuous deployment processes
