PaneraTech is seeking an experienced Vice President of Legal and Finance to join their executive team. Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree; preferred active membership in the Bar Association
  • 8+ years experience in a similar leadership role
  • 2+ years in an early stage or high growth business environment
  • A history of success using data to drive informed decisions
  • Extensive experience in legal, financial, and operational roles within a corporate setting
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and business acumen
  • Proven track record in negotiating complex contracts, managing compliance, and driving financial performance
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • Operational efficiency but not at the expense of culture – invested in healthy teams

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a scalable legal framework with templates and company standards
  • Provide legal counsel to the leadership team on commercial relationships and strategic initiatives
  • Partner with teams to optimize pricing, standardize contracts, and streamline the quote-to-contract process
  • Oversee legal and regulatory compliance, manage risks, and develop business continuity plans
  • Draft, negotiate, and review corporate transaction documents and advise on legal matters
  • Monitor financial performance metrics and prepare regular reports for executive management
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
  • Continuously assess and improve financial processes and controls to mitigate risks and enhance financial transparency
  • Communicate financial planning status, manage budgets, and analyze cash flow regularly
  • Conduct financial planning and analysis (FP&A), support budgeting and forecasting processes, and provide P&L impact analysis for business initiatives
  • Review company expenses and optimize spending to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Manage relationships with banks to secure lines of credit and other financial instruments to support company operations
  • Oversee the financial operations of the subsidiaries in Turkiye, including financial and business administrative activities
  • Lead and mentor finance teams to achieve departmental goals and objectives
