Requirements
- Proven experience as a Web Developer, with a strong portfolio of completed web projects
- Proficiency in web development languages and frameworks, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP or Python
- Expertise in CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or Webflow
- Experience building Shopify stores and knowledge of Shopify Liquid is required
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, web standards, and best practices
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git and deployment workflows
- Experience integrating and managing APIs, payment gateways, and other third-party tools
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy responsive websites and web applications that align with business goals
- Build and customize Shopify stores using Shopify Liquid, ensuring they meet client specifications and provide an excellent user experience
- Ensure optimal performance, speed, and scalability across devices and browsers
- Regularly maintain, update, and optimize websites for functionality and SEO performance
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Implement APIs and third-party integrations to enhance website functionality
- Work closely with designers to translate mockups, wireframes, and prototypes into functional websites
- Collaborate with marketing teams to implement tracking tools like Google Analytics and ensure campaign effectiveness
- Diagnose and resolve website issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum user experience
- Perform regular quality assurance tests to identify and fix bugs
- Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to suggest and implement innovative features
- Recommend enhancements to improve website performance, accessibility, and user experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms like Shopify or WooCommerce is a strong advantage
- Familiarity with frontend libraries (e.g., React or Angular) and backend frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Laravel)
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch to collaborate with designers
- Basic knowledge of database management (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB)
- Experience in optimizing website performance, including image compression, lazy loading, and caching techniques
