Web Editor

Summary

Aprio is seeking a Web Editor to contribute to the enhancement of their WordPress website by posting and editing daily content, maintaining existing pages, auditing content, optimizing performance, and staying updated with web technologies. The ideal candidate should have 1-3 years of experience as a Web Editor or similar role, strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and graphics software like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience as a Web Editor or a similar role within the WordPress environment as well as strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
• Ability to build and maintain WordPress posts and pages with relevant plugins including Beaver Builder page builder, Block Editor, and UberMenu
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with graphics software including Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

Responsibilities

• Post and edit daily Aprio Insights consisting of articles, events, videos, podcasts, and employee biographies in a timely manner
• Assist in the publishing of new landing pages and perform routine maintenance of existing pages: content edits, image creation, embedding video, etc
• Audit and maintain the accuracy and style of existing content
• Assist in the optimization of website performance and troubleshoot page and/or coding issues efficiently
• Stay up to date with the latest front-end technologies, industry trends, and best web practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of performance optimization tools and techniques (e.g., Lighthouse, WebPageTest, Conductor, Google Search Console)
• Understanding of current SEO concepts and Google Analytics (GA4 and Tag Manager)
