Windows Engineer

Summary

Join Jane Street as a Windows Engineering intern and work alongside full-time employees in the IT department to learn about designing, deploying, securing, and maintaining key infrastructure components. You'll have the opportunity to troubleshoot technical issues, brainstorm approaches to improve systems and workflows, write code, and learn about new technology. During the internship, you'll be exposed to various technologies and work on two projects with full-timers.

Requirements

• Strong programmer with high potential and aptitude for learning
• Knowledgeable of operating system fundamentals and computer architecture
• Able to understand network protocols at a basic level
• Intellectually curious, collaborative, and eager to learn
• Humble, unafraid to ask questions, and able to admit mistakes
• Strong communicator
• As comfortable at the command line as in a GUI
• Experience with Windows Operating systems
