Woodframe Structure Engineer

A minimum of 5 years of structural engineering experience and 2 years of remote work experience with a US company are required. Proficiency in EnerCalc, Bluebeam, and CAD software is essential. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in structural engineering
• At least 2 years of remote work experience with a US-based company
• Proficiency in EnerCalc and Bluebeam
• Strong skills in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit)
• Excellent understanding of US building codes and standards (IBC, AISC, ACI)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural components and systems for woodframe residential projects
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents using CAD software
• Conduct structural assessments and provide solutions for existing structures
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project success
• Perform calculations to ensure the structural integrity of designs
• Review and approve structural shop drawings and submittals
• Monitor construction processes and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
