Requirements
- Solid experience working with WordPress (core, themes, plugins)
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with cPanel, FTP, and common hosting environments
- Experience with security and backup tools (e.g., Wordfence, UpdraftPlus)
- Ability to troubleshoot plugin conflicts and resolve website errors
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Comfortable working independently and responding quickly to issues
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain existing WordPress websites
- Develop and optimize responsive designs to ensure a seamless display and user experience across various devices (desktop, tablet, mobile)
- Perform regular updates of WordPress core, themes, and plugins
- Troubleshoot and fix site issues including layout problems, plugin conflicts, or performance lags
- Ensure backups, security patches, and uptime are consistently maintained
- Optimize websites for speed and performance
- Provide technical support for internal teams or clients regarding website-related issue
- Document fixes and maintain a change log
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with staging environments and version control (e.g., Git)
- Knowledge of SEO basics and best practices
- Familiarity with page builders like Elementor or WPBakery
- Basic knowledge of Google Analytics, Tag Manager, or Search Console
