Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience developing custom WordPress websites, themes, and plugins
• In-depth knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Strong understanding of the WordPress core, architecture, and best practices
• Experience with popular page builders, such as Elementor, Divi, or Beaver Builder
• Familiarity with the WordPress REST API and integrating with third-party services
• Proficient with version control systems, such as Git
• Experience with website performance optimization, including caching, code minification, and image optimization
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and techniques
• Strong understanding of website security principles and best practices
• Experience with web hosting environments and server management
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
• A strong portfolio showcasing custom WordPress projects

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins
• Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing, responsive, and mobile-first designs
• Integrate with external APIs and third-party services to enhance website functionality and user experience
• Implement SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic
