Summary

Join our team as a Front & Back-end Developer to build and maintain high-speed, secure websites for our US-based clients. You will be responsible for back-end development, including web hosting, WordPress theme and plugin customization, and site security. Success requires in-depth knowledge of back-end programming languages and strong code documentation skills. This is a fully remote position requiring 5-8 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. The ideal candidate will have experience with various hosting environments, API integrations, and site optimization techniques. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field from a reputed Institute
• Excellent written communication skills in English
• Highly organized – can manage prioritizing multiple tasks and tickets
• 3+ years experience as a WordPress Developer
• Proficiency in JavaScript/PHP/CSS / HTML is required
• SQL experience
• Proven knowledge of REST API and API Backends
• Experience with at least one framework/ library like Express.js , Django, Angular , React etc
• Site Migration, Malware troubleshooting/ clean up - Plesk/cPanel site management, ticketing and resolution
• Clean code writing skills, structured code using coding framework
• At least 4 hours overlap with US Central time will be needed

Responsibilities

• Manage Multiple sites through Hosting Control Panel
• Experienced in Hosting environments like Siteground , Kinsta etc
• Manage site updates deployment, testing and uptime monitoring on sites
• Site Setup, Wordpress Site Migration
• Troubleshoot Wordpress site errors
• Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration
• Building custom integrations with 3 rd party API’s (REST API’s, JSON, XML)
• Build custom plugins and customize themes in Wordpress
• Deploy automated tools and manual checks to ensure all hosted sites perform optimally
• Monitor site audits and ensure all sites run optimally
• Optimize page load speeds, database cleanup and plugin updates on a monthly basis
• Write shortcodes or build custom plugins for enhancing functionality
• Effectively document and maintain version control
• Implement hardened security on Wordpress sites and implement malware prevention tools
• Designing and building Wordpress Projects based on client requirements (website, theme, plugin)
• Document SOP’s and protocols on security & site maintenance

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical SEO knowledge will be a plus
• Experience on Google Cloud Platform or AWS will be a plus
