Summary

Join Incubane, a tech-driven team enhancing Workday with Extend services, as a highly experienced Workday Extend Architect (Manager). Lead a team in delivering innovative Workday Extend applications, owning the end-to-end development lifecycle. You will design application architecture, manage consultants, gather client requirements, and ensure solutions are technically sound and commercially viable. This remote role requires strong communication, leadership, and technical skills in Workday Extend development. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in leading large IT projects and working with agile methodologies. Based remotely, you will collaborate with clients and team members across various locations.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience developing Workday Extend application
• A minimum of 5 years of software development experience
• Proficiency in working with web services technologies (SOAP, REST)
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming language
• Experience of designing applications to solve business and technical challenges
• Workday Extend active certification
• Experience developing and coding within agile environment
• Extensive experience of leading large IT projects
• Experience working to tight deadlines and making sensible decisions under pressure
• Excellent Customer focus and a very strong communication skills giving ability to lead meetings, projects and streams of work
• Broad business and technology understanding
• Capability of leading remote Teams
• Aware of the importance of the confidentiality and nondisclosure policies
• English B2 proficiency
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems) or equivalent experience
• People management experience

Responsibilities

• Lead and own the end-to-end development lifecycle of Workday Extend applications across one or more client projects
• Design application architecture in alignment with business needs and Workday best practices
• Manage and mentor a team of Workday Extend consultants, providing technical oversight and support
• Work closely with clients to gather, understand, and document business requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions are not only technically sound but also commercially viable
• Oversee the implementation, deployment, and ongoing support of Extend applications
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to support long-term success and client satisfaction

• Expertise in product development with AI
