Summary

Join Oscar's Workforce Management team as a Workforce Management Optimization Associate! You will lead process optimization and implementation to achieve organizational goals, requiring strong project management, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement skills. This role involves managing cross-functional projects, analyzing departmental performance, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. You'll mentor team members and ensure compliance. Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or 3+ years commensurate experience
  • 3+ years of work experience in operations, health insurance, data analysis, engineering and/or consulting
  • 2+ years of experience using data software such as Excel, SQL, Python or other data analytics tools
  • 2+ years of experience with end to end project management
  • 2+ years of experience in designing and improving workflows as well as standing up accompanying operating and technical procedures
  • 2+ years of experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma and/or Theory of constraints

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end management of cross-functional implementations/projects, including project plan creation, stakeholder engagement, managing relationships to guide collaboration, edge case mitigation, and completion
  • Evaluate overall departmental performance by creating, gathering, analyzing metrics and assisting in development of departmental metrics and implementation of mitigation strategies
  • Collaboratively works with all relevant internal and external stakeholder groups to create proactive implementation, communications, and program strategies for successful change management and risk mitigation plans
  • Mentor team members and promotes colleagues' growth
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or other related field
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher
