Summary

The job description is for a student intern position in Backend Engineering and Office IT at JustWatch. The intern will work on integrating APIs, developing and maintaining internal tools, automating processes, and providing support to the Office IT team. The ideal candidate has programming skills, particularly with Go, SQL, APIs, and RESTful Web Services.

Requirements

• Already existing programming knowledge - Experience with Go is a plus!
• Can start with SQL, APIs and RESTful Web Services and strive to improve skills
• Interested in learning new technologies and using them effectively
• Has own ideas, but is open for feedback
• Motivated by collaboration with people to grow
• Lives in or around Berlin and is willing to come to the office at least once a week
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in German and English are essential for this position

• Development and maintenance of internal Backend tools and Quality-of-Life solutions
• Integration and optimization of REST APIs
• Automation of work processes
• Deployment and maintenance of developed services
• Management and updating of hardware and inventory, including On- and Offboarding
