Virtual Yoga Therapist

Summary

Join our team as a Virtual Yoga Therapist and provide yoga therapy services to Veterans. You will work a flexible schedule, Monday through Friday between 8 am and 8 pm, and weekends between 8 am and 5 pm. This role requires certification through an IAYT-accredited program and specialized knowledge in adapting yoga practices to meet the needs of diverse patient populations. You will utilize safe yoga practices, adapt protocols to individual abilities and medical needs, and educate Veterans on the health benefits of yoga. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

• Be certified through a program accredited by the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT)
• Possess specialized knowledge in providing yoga therapy supportive of and sensitive to clinical needs of specific patient populations

Responsibilities

• Utilize yoga practices demonstrated to be safe for individuals in generally good health
• Adapt yoga protocols to match the Veteran’s ability and medical needs
• Educate Veterans regarding the health benefits associated with yoga
