Summary

Join Aretum as an Accessibility Architect and lead the effort in making our digital products accessible to all users. Develop and implement accessibility standards and guidelines aligned with WCAG and Section 508 compliance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers and developers, to ensure accessibility is integrated into all design and development stages. Conduct accessibility audits, provide improvement recommendations, and deliver training on inclusive design best practices. This role requires 4+ years of experience in digital accessibility testing and proficiency with various accessibility tools. Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in digital accessibility testing
  • Proficiency with tools like axe DevTools, WAVE, ANDI, and screen readers (JAWS, NVDA)
  • Experience in agile environments and user-centered design teams
  • Knowledge of WCAG, Section 508, and inclusive design

Responsibilities

  • Conduct automated and manual accessibility testing (JAWS, NVDA, axe DevTools, etc.)
  • Collaborate with designers and developers to integrate accessibility best practices
  • Provide remediation recommendations and ensure compliance
  • Produce testing documentation with qualifications, methodologies, and outcomes
  • Participate in sprint reviews and validate acceptance criteria
