Summary

Join Apothékary™, a fast-growing health and wellness startup, as an experienced Amazon Account Director. You will manage and optimize the brand's Amazon presence to drive revenue growth, improve brand visibility, and enhance customer experience. This role involves managing the Amazon 3P account, executing commercial strategies, and identifying new growth opportunities. The ideal candidate possesses strong P&L expertise, a proactive mindset, and deep Amazon FBA knowledge. You will report to the SVP of Marketing & Commercialization and collaborate with various teams. This is a full-time, fully remote position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, eCommerce, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience managing Amazon accounts, preferably for consumer brands (experience in supplements category on Amazon a plus)
  • Proven track record of driving significant Amazon sales growth and improving key performance metrics
  • Expert knowledge of Amazon Seller Central and/or Vendor Central platforms
  • Strong experience with Amazon advertising (PPC, DSP) and ability to manage substantial ad budgets effectively
  • Proficiency with Amazon analytics tools and third-party software (Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Keepa, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of Amazon SEO, product listing optimization, and ranking factors
  • Experience with inventory planning and demand forecasting for eCommerce
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Excellent written communication skills for creating compelling product content and customer communications
  • Detail-oriented with strong project management and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Amazon policies, compliance requirements, and account health best practices

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive Amazon growth strategies to increase sales, market share, and brand visibility across all relevant Amazon marketplaces
  • Manage day-to-day Amazon Seller Central and/or Vendor Central operations, including product listings, pricing, inventory management, and order fulfillment coordination
  • Optimize product detail pages with compelling copy, high-quality images, A+ Content, and keyword-rich descriptions to improve conversion rates and search visibility
  • Plan and execute Amazon advertising campaigns (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, DSP) to drive traffic and sales while maintaining target ACOS/ROAS goals
  • Monitor and analyze Amazon performance metrics including sales velocity, conversion rates, organic rankings, advertising performance, and customer reviews
  • Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to improve organic search rankings and product discoverability
  • Manage Amazon inventory planning and forecasting in coordination with Operations team to prevent stockouts and overstock situations
  • Handle Amazon account health issues, including policy violations, listing suppressions, and account performance notifications
  • Implement brand protection strategies to combat unauthorized sellers, counterfeit products, and MAP violations
  • Coordinate Amazon promotional activities including Lightning Deals, coupons, Prime Day participation, and seasonal campaigns
  • Analyze competitor activity, pricing strategies, and market trends to identify opportunities and threats
  • Manage customer reviews and feedback, responding to negative reviews and implementing strategies to improve overall ratings
  • Collaborate with Creative team on Amazon-specific marketing assets, product photography, and video content
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports to leadership team with actionable insights and recommendations
  • Stay current with Amazon policy changes, new features, and industry best practices to maintain competitive advantage
  • Coordinate with third-party Amazon agencies or consultants when applicable
  • Coordinate strategy with Apothékary paid media growth team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with brand protection and MAP enforcement preferred
  • Familiarity with additional marketplaces (Walmart, Target+, etc.) a plus
  • Passion for eCommerce and staying ahead of digital retail trends
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities with C-level executives and retail buyers

  • Salary range: $110,000 - $135,000, depending on experience
