Summary
Join Kalepa, a leading AI-powered commercial insurance platform, as a Strategic Accounts Director. This role requires 10+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience, focusing on securing new relationships with major US insurers. You will manage high-value accounts, identifying key stakeholders, developing relationships, and closing large commercial agreements. The position involves significant travel (up to 80%) to meet with clients and prospects. Based in the Tri-state area or Chicago is preferred, but other locations in CST or EST are considered. Kalepa offers a competitive salary ($160K-$190K base, $320K-$380K OTE), aggressive bonus structure, equity options, and excellent benefits.
Requirements
- Spend several days per week meeting with clients and prospects in-person within your geography (Tri-state area or Midwest if based in Chicago)
- 10+ years of enterprise SaaS Sales experience - driving new logo sales with top tier enterprise organizations and expanding existing relationships
- Exceptional, demonstrated, ability to close and grow large enterprise SaaS contracts
- Experience at an early-stage startup during hypergrowth
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage effectively with senior executives
- Hustle: finding ways to get things done, destroying obstacles, and never taking no for an answer
- Passionate, deeply motivated, and have a strong will to win
- Excellent listener; perceptive to clients’ strategic priorities and business considerations
- Value open, frank, and respectful communication
Responsibilities
- Develop master-level knowledge of the industry and become a thought partner to your clients, prospects, and Kalepa’s leadership
- Independently develop and execute sales plans to exceed Kalepa’s targets, including prospecting at the senior executive level at enterprise organizations, including publicly traded companies
- Identify key influencers and stakeholders within accounts
- Develop new relationships and nurture existing ones within accounts
- Turn prospects into sales opportunities
- Deliver large commercial agreements within accounts
- Work closely with company leadership and serve as a trusted thought partner to prospects/clients
- Think strategically and continuously devise and execute on novel and thoughtful approaches to generate new opportunities and expand Kalepa’s revenue from your set of named accounts
- Partner closely with Kalepa’s Client Success team to ensure engagements are set up to deliver significant commercial impact and ROI for our clients and to evangelize Copilot within client organizations
