Summary

The Account Director will act as the executive lead across multiple client project teams, understand client needs/objectives, help develop strategies, and ensure profitable execution of projects. They will interface directly with client executives, carry responsibility for alignment on project scope, budget, and resolving conflicts. The role requires broad experience in marketing technologies, data, and associated strategies to grow revenue.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience working in consulting (strategy & operations, technology), agency or other similar roles managing complex programs with multiple projects/workstreams
  • Lead and consult on highly technical projects, including strategies and integrations with: Customer Data Platforms (Segment preferred), Analytics (Amplitude preferred), Marketing Automation (Braze or Marketo preferred), CRM and revenue operations (Salesforce or HubSpot preferred)
  • Service focused, deliver a positive, professional and consultative customer experience
  • Data-driven mindset with proven experience utilizing metrics & insights as tools for informed decision-making
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key client stakeholders
  • Act as the main point of contact between the agency and clients, ensuring excellent communication and client satisfaction
  • Proactive, plan ahead, thinking in long term time frames as well as short time frames. Planning the team's resources while keeping tasks within scope and on time
  • An extreme eye for detail and has a preference for high quality good looking products, websites and design
  • Clear communication skills that can speak with authority, while also understanding that they have two ears for listening
  • Curious to a fault, and wants to make sure they ask clarifying questions to ensure there are no assumptions and all parties are aligned
  • Ability to communicate complex technical challenges with a client and ensure they understand the value, impact or consequence of decisions

Responsibilities

  • Act as the executive lead across multiple client project teams
  • Act as the client's internal advocate within McGaw
  • Carry responsibility for alignment on project scope, budget, and resolving any client conflicts that need more senior interaction
