Summary
Join TrustFlight, a global leader in mission-critical aviation software, as an Account Executive. You will drive revenue growth by managing the full sales cycle for mid-market deals ($10K-$100K) in the US. This remote role, based in the Central US, requires building relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and presenting tailored SaaS solutions. Success demands strong B2B sales experience, exceeding targets, and navigating complex sales cycles. You will collaborate with internal teams and represent TrustFlight at industry events. The position reports to the CEO.
Requirements
- 5+ years of sales experience in technical B2B SaaS solutions, with a proven track record of success in meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles, navigate organizational structures, and build consensus among stakeholders
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions effectively and influence decision-making
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a passion for driving business growth
- Fluency in English is required, proficiency in other languages is a plus
- Flexibility to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events as required
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets in the Americas
- Identify and qualify leads, leveraging inbound inquiries, outbound prospecting efforts, and networking opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target accounts
- Conduct thorough needs assessments and solution presentations to articulate the value proposition of our SaaS offerings
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Sales Development, Marketing, and Product, to ensure alignment and support throughout the sales process
- Lead negotiations, prepare proposals, and navigate contract discussions to successfully close deals
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular updates on pipeline activity using CRM software
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation
- Represent TrustFlight at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our solutions and expand our network
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling SaaS solutions or software products in mid-market (deal sizes $10K to $100K range) is preferred
- Strong understanding of the aviation industry and/or experience selling to aviation-related businesses is a plus
