Accounting And Taxation Manager

Summary

Join Plivo, a leading global CPaaS company, as an experienced Accounting & Taxation professional. As part of the Finance team, you will independently manage and improve accounting and taxation processes, including books of accounts, AP/AR, tax payments and filings, and financial reporting. You will collaborate with auditors and external stakeholders. This role requires a qualified CA with at least 4 years of relevant experience and strong communication skills. Requirements

• Qualified CA with at least 4 years of relevant experience in accounting and taxation, ideally with exposure to SAAS & fintech companies
• Strong verbal & written communication skills are essential for this role

Responsibilities

• Maintain Books of Accounts until finalisation
• Manage AP & AR accounting, analysis and followup
• Payment and filing/returns of TDS, GST and other statutory taxes
• Coordinate with statutory auditors in India & US to complete audit in a timely manner
• Liaise with tax department, banks, external vendors and customers as required
• Support any activities required for financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders
• Special projects such as GST refund application, transfer pricing study
• Set up & improve the Company’s processes around accounting & taxation
• Set up & improve our ERP system (NetSuite) to generate financial reports & analysis
• Set up & improve financial controls in our operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Up to 2 years of experience within the audit/assurance team of a Big-4 or comparable large accounting firm
• Candidates with experience working with Oracle NetSuite or SAP
• High-level knowledge of US GAAP and multi-entity accounting (US parent co/India subsidiary)
