Accounting Assistant

Summary

The Accounting Assistant will handle daily accounting functions, prepare reports, reconcile bank statements, and assist with property management data entry. They should have a strong accounting background, excellent attention to detail, multitasking skills, and proficiency in accounting software. Requirements

• Strong accounting background with experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow statements
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Input invoices and bills into the accounting system
• Input new vendors and customers, ensuring accurate and complete information
• Ensure the accuracy of coding expenses and payments
• Assist with daily agent payments and posting deposits
• Assist with monthly agent invoicing
• Assist with monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
• Cross-train and assist with commercial and residential property management data entry and support
• Assist with daily bank deposits and ACH transactions
• Provide support for centralized services, agents, and staff
• Offer property management support as needed
• Assist with preparing monthly financial reports
