Accounting Assistant

Summary

Join GoFasti, a Talent-as-a-Service company, as a part-time, remote Accounting Assistant based in Latin America! This role requires 3+ years of accounting experience and expertise in QuickBooks. You will perform general accounting tasks, assist with month-end/year-end closing, prepare financial reports, and communicate with clients. The salary ranges from $800-$900 USD per month for 20 hours/week. This is a 3-month contract-to-hire position working remotely for one of GoFasti's clients. The hiring process involves application review, interviews with GoFasti and the client, and onboarding.

Requirements

• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Expertise in QuickBooks
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with clients
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Perform general accounting tasks including data entry, bank reconciliations, and journal entries using QuickBooks
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Prepare financial reports and statements for internal use and client-facing meetings
• Process invoices, payments, and expenses accurately and timely
• Communicate with clients as needed to gather information, provide updates, or clarify details
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with accounting principles
• Support with accounts payable and receivable tasks, ensuring timely and accurate processing
• Assist with financial analysis and budgeting support as required by the management team
