Accounting Associate

Summary

The job description is for a position in the F&A team at Crypto.com, where the employee will perform accounting, treasury, and accounts payable tasks. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with 0-2 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, and/or treasury.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 0-2 years professional work in finance, accounting and/or treasury; audit experience a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills, team player, self-motivated, quick learner with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Preparation of journal entries to record daily cash transactions and customer activity
• Preparation of journal entries to record operating cash transactions, accruals, etc
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, including accruals, prepaids, property, and intercompany accounts
• Preparation of daily reports for Management
• Preparation of daily and monthly reports for Regulators
• Assistance with tax return preparation, financial statement audit, and supporting schedules
• Completion of ad hoc project work such as automation of daily/monthly processes to improve efficiency and output
• Support Finance team with ad hoc work with Crypto.com entities
• Manage Accounts Payable including purchase order creation, invoice review/submission, payment processing
• Ensure timely processing of vendor payments to keep accounts current
• Communicate with vendors regarding invoice issues or payment applications as necessary
• Maintain supplier database keeping addresses, TINs and banking details current
• Build complete repository of vendor W9 forms
• Performance of internal control procedures to ensure completeness and accuracy of books and records
