Accounting Intern, Internship - Lithuania

Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our finance team for hands-on experience in accounting and finance. The intern will assist with various tasks such as data entry, financial reporting, account reconciliation, and audits while meeting core requirements like pursuing a degree in Accounting or related field, proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, excellent communication skills in Lithuanian and English, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and basic understanding of accounting principles.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Lithuanian and English
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic understanding of accounting principles

Responsibilities

• Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts
• Assist with accounts payable
• Assist with audits and compliance checks
• Provide administrative support to the accounting team
